Project Manager
Edmunds has graduated from Riga Technical University obtaining Master’s Degree of Social Science in Management. Edmunds has more than 4 years of experience in audit and control field, including audit in EU financed programmes and projects. During this time Edmunds carried out a number tasks, including managing project audits of INTERREG III initiative for previous 2004–2006 EU funds period, carrying out system audits of EU structural funds activities for current 2007–2013 EU funds period, as well as performing tasks of the Audit Authority of Latvia–Lithuania Programme (assessment of management and control system, system audits, etc.).
In the Joint Technical Secretariat Edmunds is responsible for management and administration of the Latvia–Lithuania Programme.
