The event 'Let's cherish the nature' within the project 'Youth Leader School'
On the 5th of April 2012 SMK Students club and young leaders is organizing the event 'Let’s cherish the nature'. The event will take place in Curonian spit National Park.
Event participants will be educated how to plant trees; how to approve the ridge, they will also help to clean the nature of the Curonian spit National Park.
The date: the 5th of April 2012;
The time: 11.00 – starting time of the event. All participants has to be at New Ferry at 10.15.
The place: Curonian spit National Park. This event is organized while implementing Ventspils Youth Council and SMK University of Applied Social Sciences project 'Development of Youth Leader School in Kurzeme and Klaipeda Regions'.

On the 29th of March 2012, SMK Students club together with the smallest children from kindergarten is organizing the playful, childish and a warm celebration of sport "Let’s meet the spring together!". This event is designed to strengthen the youth and children's cooperation, mutual understanding, student responsibility and initiative.

Within the project in Ozolnieku Tautas nams of at 11.30 – 15.30 will be held applied art design (painting, silk painting, leather processing)and music (brass instruments, percussion instruments) workshops (masterclass).

Spring feast "Klaipėda Friendship park - home of the birds" within the project 'Youth Leader School'
The aim of this event - to strengthen community cooperation and common activities, to show them the importance of cherishing nature and preparing for birds coming. During this event the nestle-boxes will be placed in the park, so that birds after the winter would have home where to live.

3rd Steering Committee 6th Work Group meeting within the project 'Renewable energy'
During the 3rd Steering Committee and 6th Work Group meeting the general situation about the project implementation will be presented as well as Requested changes of the project will be discussed. Project partners will present the situation in their objects after the 2nd reporting period. Coming project activities and other related questions to the project will be discussed as well. Site visits to the objects related to implementation of EU projects, Latvia – Lithuania program will complete the meeting.

Doors open day Joniskis agricultural school within the project 'Green Environment'
Project Green Environment will organise Open day in Joniskis agricultural school. The evens idea to introduce pupils about local plants diversity in Ziemgala region. The aim is to motivate and to interest pupils in rare plants and valuable objects of nature. Participants can to get information about rare plants of expeditions.

Siauliai university project MATNET will organise School Pupil Scientific Mathematic Olympiad (350 part.-LT, 30 part.-LV). During Olympiad the seminar-discussion for the school teachers will be oragised as well. Participants will identify secondary education problems and initiate the submission of problem solving recommendations
