Come to Meet the Puppets (1st Call Project - Art Bridge)
All day long you will be able to see the Puppet theatre performances, participate in workshops and create your own puppet - "My Puppet", to catch very special feelings during photo session, offered by Liepaja photo studio "FOTAST" or visit two interesting exhibitions: children art-works, made during creative camp "Children of the Baltic coast” and photo exhibition “Dolls”

Communication workshop in Lithuania (1st Call projects)
Communication workshops are aimed for the project managers responsible for the publicity of the Latvia–Lithuania Programme’s 1st Call projects. During the one day event participants will: improve their presentation and communication skills; exchange experience of developing project communication tools; get practical advises on writing press releases and attracting media attention to their project; repeat Programme requirements. Presentations and communication exercises will be prepared by the Information Managers of the Joint Technical Secretariat. Also, there will be national experts (journalists or communication advisers) invited to share their experience and to give practical advises.

Introductory Seminar of the 1st Call project 'Fire fighting'
Introductory seminar of the project "Common Fire and Rescue Response
System on the Border". The aim of seminar: to get familiarized with
Latvia-Lithuania border characteristic, risk objects and potential
sources of danger, to assess possible incidents at the border and
extreme situation risk, to form operative action planning and
coordination work group, to start develop joint plan for liquidation
of extreme situations and concentration of fire rescue forces
responding to the incidents and extreme situations and etc.

Seminar for the First Level Controlers in Lithuania
Seminar is aimed for the First Level Controlers auditoring Latvia-Lithuania Programme Projects. Participants will learn about finacial rules, publicity requirements, reporting forms. Representatives from the Ministry of Interior will present Firsl level Control system in Lithuania, requirements for auditors, national eligibility rules, etc.

Changes in the Procurement Law of the Republic of Latvia
