During the conference we will discuss regularities of processes of regional development and their impact in the regional, national and international context. By taking this interdisciplinary approach, we believe to provide opportunities for understanding and creating a balanced and sustainable development of the region. We kindly invite to this conference on the development of the region of Latgale researchers, representatives of municipalities, specialists in regional planning and development, and employees of educational and cultural institutions dealing with regional socio-economic, cultural or educational issues.
