30 November - 2 December the annual Baltic Development Forum was held in Copenhagen and Malmo. It was the 10th Anniversary Summit.
There were 570 participants registered to the leading Summit and networking event in the Baltic Sea Region.

On 30 October Ulf Wikström from INTERACT Point Turku visited the Joint Technical Secretariat Office. He met staff working in the Joint Technical Secretariat and Managing Authority, and discussed issues relating to the Information and Communication Strategy of the Latvia – Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation Programme with them. 19 projects were approved under conditions for financing from the Latvia – Lithuania Programme in the 1st Call which was closed on 30 June 2008. Everyone who did not manage to apply in the 1st Call or wants to improve project application is probably waiting impatiently when the 2nd Call will be announced.
