As on 30 April current reporting period ends the Joint Technical Secretariat together with State Regional Development Agency in Latvia and Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania organizes two separate seminars on eligibility of costs and filling the partner report forms as well as issues regarding 1st level control for Latvian and Lithuanian mostly 4th Call project partners, however all partners who need to repeat the financial requirements of the Programme are welcome to attend these seminars. This Wednesday on 15 February the presentation of the Report on Latvian — Lithuanian Cooperation Perspectives will take place in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. During the round table discussion the Head of the Programme's Managing Authority Arina Andreičika will present achievements of the Programme and future vision of cross border cooperation.

The project “Cured by Animals” during past year in cooperation of 17 project partners has done a lot in order to develop and promote different animal therapy methods. The project coordinator Laila Vilmane which represents Lead partner Latvian Office of the Euroregion „Country of Lakes” in short interview told about the results and achievements of this project.

Out of 172 projects which were submitted during the opened 4th Call for Proposals 49 project applications were submitted under the Priority I with the requested almost EUR 21,4 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

In total 68 institutions (39 from Latvia and 29 from Lithuania) will be involved in the implementation of approved projects. Nine institutions from Latvia and seven from Lithuania will lead the approved first priority projects.
