Latvia-Lithuania Programme awards 2010: WINNERS

In order to share good cooperation practice Latvia–Lithuania Programme announced awards for the year 2010. „In all four categories we received 12 applications from eight projects. Those who were active and shared their best parctice were selected as the winners for the awards“ - says Information Manager Laura Melne

The ceremony of Awards 2010 took place during the annual event 2010 of the Latvia-Lithuania Programme.

About the price

A special glass bowl with Programme simbolic created by Latvian artist Marta Ģibiete. The bowl are in shape to keep everything inside. This time the bowl was filled with acorns. Why? The oak-tree is a common symbol of Latvia and Lithuania and symbolyses the power and energy. The bowl with acorns presents the energy, knowldge and time that project partners have to invest to receive tangible and durable results like the acorns, which are the results of oak-tree.
