SEEKS FINANCIAL PROJECT MANAGER (LATVIAN SPEAKING)
 
to work in Vilnius for the Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus Cross-border Cooperation Programme within the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument.
 
Job description: the tasks of the financial project manager will include but not be limited to: checking and assessing the projects of the cooperating organisations from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus, advising and consulting on the questions related to the Programme and Latvian national as well as European requirements, monitoring the progress of the projects funded by the European Union (including checking the financial reports), and working with the Programme database. The working language in JTS is English.
 
Main requirements: University degree in the field of economics, accountancy, banking or other relevant field, fluent in Latvian and very good command of English (knowledge of Russian would be an asset), knowledge of Latvian national (especially public procurement) and EU legal acts, at least two years of experience in programme or project management (specific experience in cooperation programmes or projects would be an advantage), professional computer skills (MS Excel, etc.).

Term:
This is a temporary position. The employee will sign a labour agreement until the 31st of December, 2015, with a probation period lasting three months.
