Summary Description of the Project:
Project aims at creating supporting environment for the development of creative industries in the project areas and fostering the sustainability of economy. It will also facilitate the commercialization of creative business ideas in the audio-visual, multimedia and design by establishing cooperation networks and supporting infrastructure at the level of local municipalities.

It is planned to improve infrastructure of art, music schools and youth centres by renovating rooms and buying equipment that would correspond to modern needs. In order to promote commercialization of creative asset, it is planned to organize conferences, seminars, training, creative workshops and exhibitions.

Project partners will also lead a research on creative industry development in Latvia-Lithuania border regions and will identify a number of people working in the field, demand for education in relevant fields and sectors, priority directions and trends.
