The goal of the project is to mobilize and strengthen cultural activities of communities. The most important accent of the project is co-signing of bilateral agreements between the communities of Antazavė and Dubna, Suviekas and Liksna. People living at the border will interact, share experiences in solving different problems and will learn from the best practices.
During the first phase of the project there were festivals organized in small border towns – Suviekas and Antazavė. Exhibitions, wood carvers symposiums, fairs and many other cultural events organized in the framework of the project will involve local inhabitants and visitors.
One more target group of the project – managers working in the field of culture. They will have an opportunity to built their skills during two workshops. Also it is foreseen to organize a conference on cultural issues in Zarasai.
